Our Story
Our Non Profit organization works hard to assist those Individuals with Alzeihmers or dementia and their families. We understand the challenges when dealing with these conditions and want to make sure social and care setting needs are met through our core offerings. Our program reaches the southern Nevada area and provide direct assistance as well as overall support.
Through History and Inspiration
Leon Burton was a passionate football player and devoted family man. Born in Flint, Michigan on March 13th 1935, he made a name for himself playing professional football in the NFL. Sadly later in life, it became apparent that he had been afflicted with Alzheimer's disease causing him to slowly lose memory functions. He passed away October 7 2022 at 87 years old, however, his Legacy lives on.
Through his loving family they have created the Leonburton foundation, which offers direct assistance to those facing similar struggles and offers support to their families as well. Since its inception, there have been countless stories that have resulted in changed and improved lives as a testament to their beloved’s everlasting impact.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide compassionate support, education, and resources to families affected by dementia and Alzheimer’s . We are committed to improving the quality of life for people with dementia or Alzheimer’s and their caregivers through personalized care, innovative programs, and community engagement. Our goal is to empower families to live well with dementia, while promoting awareness and understanding of the disease in our community.
